On the third weekend of January (17th-19th January 25), about 25 men from our parishes went on a spiritual retreat to the monastery in Králíky. In the lectures, together with Father Jenda, they reflected on the theme of the ongoing Jubilee Year - Pilgrims of Hope. In addition to lectures, reflections, Holy Mass, silence, and evening adoration, there was also plenty of good food, time for meetings, and chatting. On Saturday, after a wonderful lunch, the beautiful winter weather drew 4 brave souls out for cross-country skiing, while the others went for a walk in the surrounding area. They concluded the retreat with Sunday Mass at the local pilgrimage church, which this year has the privilege of granting jubilee indulgences.
